Your Guide to Self Permission and Imperfect Action

Overcoming the Fear of Judgment and Embrace Possibility

Giving yourself permission to succeed takes courage beyond measure.

The truth is: the scrutiny, criticism and self doubt can paralyze you and that is just it.

WHO do you think you are?

Your chest gets tight at the mere thought that someone will say this AND you low key fear everyone is thinking this.

But the real question is: who would you become if you allowed yourself to succeed?

You want more, but are afraid to say: you won’t let yourself be great.

This is something that others get to do or get to be, but you are expected to color inside the lines.

We all are expected to do this. (To ‘want’ but never quite achieve aka dream and then complain about this or that, which is the reason(s), you can’t have the thing.)

Until you awaken to a discomfort that can no longer be ignored or denied, it will continue to nag at you and bury you while still alive.

Your Greatness is beckoning you.

But then you think, ‘What will they think about me?’ This screams and haunts you AND stops you from going to get the life you want.

Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

Developing a Trained Mind

Being a leader in your life means being self motivated.

It doesn’t mean, you don’t get knocked upside the head every now and again.

It does mean that you won’t allow fear to paralyze you into non-action.

Developing a growth mindset can significantly impact your ability to succeed.

The status quo views challenges as an obstacle, but a leader views them as opportunities for learning.

This perspective shift allows you to understand that every setback can lead to valuable insights and ultimately propel you closer to your goals or create new goals.

If You Can’t Ask For What You Want, You Don’t Get To Have What You Want

You teeter totter between hiding in plain sight and being seen. You are exhausted even though to the outside world you aren’t moving. This just will not do anymore!

Can you allow yourself to be seen?

Can you live outloud?

Make mistakes AND have success? aka: ‘fail fast’

Stop waiting for the other shoe to drop and have the cake and ENJOY every morsel.

It would be so easy if the world just handed you everything you wanted on a silver platter.

But where is the fun, the experience of it?

In theory, this would be awesome, but in fact, after a while, this gets pretty boring.

Don’t believe me? Recall a young child who gets frustrated when you tie her shoe when she is ready to do this herself. The fun is in the seeing a thing through.

With this said, it doesn’t have to be hard once you line up with desiring your greatness and seeing the greatness potential inside yourself.

You have to let yourself have it (internally) and here is the ‘work’.

Making an opportunity for yourself in allowing yourself to know that you are great.

It isn’t a celebrated quality, but when you are striving for something more, you can’t afford to care.

Every person that ever strived for greatness were deemed ‘crazy’ by someone(s) until they became a success.

Go after the thing that keeps you up at night. You may not have the whole vision in front of you, but just follow the breadcrumbs of your vision.

Sometimes, the Universe has to move obstacles and create opportunities to line up with your vision.

Surround Yourself with Support

Surround yourself with support even if this means paying for it.

That sentence is a bit ‘yikes’ but hear me out:

Some people have amazing people who will listen and support them, mentors who are a few steps ahead of you to keep you motivated and family who are fully supportive of a dream that they can not see.

In my experience, leaders have to craft this in their lives too: via masterminds, cohorts and coaching programs.

I have even led a few a no cost. These have been short lived as Joe Polish says: ‘If you they don’t pay, they won’t pay attention.’

You can go further faster, if you have support on your journey.

Just know if you want support in this way, it may require a monetary exchange.

A Detour May Just Be Lining Up The Perfect Timing

This is where the hard part comes in. If you are efforting too much, consider backing off as the timing might be off by a bit.

This simple easing off the brakes allows it to come in more perfect that you could have done working hard.

But whatever you do, don’t wait for approval from the powers that be (whoever that it is) or the people who are closest to you, you may be waiting til Neverurary.

Take Action, No Matter How Small

Take imperfect action towards your dreams.

Continued manageable steps no matter the ’size’ are key here.

Every action you take reinforces your commitment to yourself and your goals.

Over time, the steps you accumulate turn into significant progress (especially provided that you celebrate the milestones) proving to yourself that you are indeed capable of achieving greatness.

Fonda shares: 'When I was a massage therapist, I noticed the common thread of physical pain that people expressed. It inspired me to pull on the 'why' of pain: No matter what walk of life, the disconnect (pain) is basically the same.

People are fearful that the love (they are seeking in all areas of their lives), they aren't worthy of it.

The fact IS unless and until you accept yourself, to remember your worthiness and love yourself in plain sight - no one else's love can full you up. This is the Wholeness journey + the cycle of pain can cease.'
